Flu Prevention at WSCA

In response to the news reports about the Enterovirus D68 the CDC is recommending that everyone adhere to good hygiene practices.  At this time, WSCA has had no reports of any students that have been affected by this virus but, as always, good hygiene practices will help to prevent the spread of colds, flu, and other illness. Please be assured that the health and safety of our students is our top priority. We will monitor updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Department of Health (DOH) as well as keep a close eye on sicknesses within our schools. Also, we will continue to encourage our faculty and staff to practice effective prevention methods to help stop the spread of illness immediately.

Please review this CDC flyer with your family and practice good hygiene.  It is also recommended that students with Asthma make sure that they are in contact with their doctors and have all of their necessary Asthma medications on hand.  Thank you for helping to keep all of our WSCA students and staff healthy.
